Sharon McKenzie grew up in Huntsville, leaving to attend The Ontario College of Art and The School of Architecture, University of Toronto. While practicing architecture for over 40 years, Sharon continued to develop her interest in art and took up acrylic painting after moving back to Huntsville. A few years ago she painted two images of birds for
“Square Foot North”, another show sponsored by HFA, and delighted in painting the birds so much she has continued.
