Sharon McKenzie went Huntsville High School where her interest in art developed. In the 1970’s. Sharon, along with other students, had summers jobs keeping the high school art rooms open to the community for both children and adults. She studied at OCAD for a year then switched to architecture and became a practicing architect. A past member of Huntsville Heritage she wrote many of the architectural descriptions of Huntsville buildings. She retired 4 years ago and has taken up landscape painting.
