Abstract surrealism has influenced my work: My technique is largely ‘automatism’, where the unconscious is brought to the forefront during the process of creation. As things evolve, the process itself becomes my motivation. I like exploring the dance between light and shadow, form, and void, to evoke emotions, provoke thought, and ignite imaginations. I follow this process until I feel the piece is resolved in terms of form, colour and composition. Each piece invites viewers to discover, reflect, explore and interpret as they will.
