My artwork is an expression of my life-long journey exploring relationships with the natural world. I find immense joy in sketching, painting and creating original art and illustration. Each piece of art tells my story… gardens I’ve planted, paths I’ve walked, forests that have held me, vistas that have captivated me and people who have filled my heart with kindness and inspired me. Through paint, ink, colour, texture and line I aim to capture the deep healing I find in nature… small garden wonders, the warming face of the sun, imaginary whimsical characters, magical woodlands, rocks, trees and shorelines that surround me… these are the things that inspire me and move me to create. I spend the sunny season working as a gardener, farming herbs, soaking up marvellous magic and beauty of plants and celebrating the diversity and wonders of the garden.
